Psychiatric care by video from home or work, for patients located in New Jersey, and in New York or California with select psychiatrists.
How it works
After you request an appointment, our team will confirm a time and send instructions for joining your video visit. You will need a private space, a stable internet connection and a phone, tablet or computer with a camera.
Who it's for
Telepsychiatry is available for many follow-up and evaluation visits. Because of licensing rules, you must be physically located in a state where your psychiatrist is licensed during the appointment: New Jersey for all of our psychiatrists, New York for Dr. Rahman and Dr. Ahmad and California for Dr. Ahmad. Some situations are better handled in person, and your psychiatrist will tell you if that is the case.

Fees
Telepsychiatry visits are billed at the same rates as in-person visits.

Harbor Road Psychiatry is an out-of-network practice. We provide a superbill you can submit to your insurer; reimbursement depends on your plan. As a group practice, our psychiatrists cover for one another, so your care continues if your psychiatrist is unavailable.
