Our Story

Founded to be a safe space with comfort and support.

How We Work

From first call to ongoing care.

01

Reach Out

Contact us or request an appointment online. Our care coordination team helps match you with the right clinician.

02

Comprehensive Evaluation

A full-length initial visit covering your history, concerns, and goals — not a rushed checklist.

03

Personalized Plan

Your psychiatrist builds a plan that may include medication management, psychotherapy, or both — based on what you actually need.

04

Ongoing Care

Regular follow-ups, coordination with your other clinicians, with your permission, and adjustments as your needs change.

Who We Serve

Children, adolescents, and adults across New Jersey.

Whatever brings you in — a new diagnosis, a second opinion, or ongoing care you've outgrown elsewhere — we tailor the approach to the person, not the diagnosis code.

We also work with families navigating a loved one's diagnosis alongside the patient themselves.

  • —Children & adolescents
  • —Adults seeking ongoing or first-time psychiatric care
  • —Individuals navigating substance use alongside a mental health condition
  • —Families supporting a loved one in treatment
  • —Patients in New Jersey in person or by telehealth, and in New York and California by telehealth with select psychiatrists

What We Value

The principles behind every visit.

Time

Full-length evaluations and follow-ups — never rushed.

Coordination

Coordination with your therapist, primary care doctor and other clinicians, with your permission.

Evidence

Treatment decisions grounded in current clinical guidelines.

Respect

Shared decisions — you are always part of the plan.

Privacy

We don't bill insurance directly, and we explain how your information is used.

Accessibility

In-person and telehealth options, so care fits your life.

How We Practice Differently

What that looks like in practice.

  • Initial evaluations of up to 60 minutes (up to 90 for children and adolescents), not a rushed intake.
  • A primary psychiatrist for your follow-up visits, backed by a group practice whose psychiatrists cover for one another.
  • Medication decisions explained in plain language, including benefits, risks and alternatives.
  • Coordination with your therapist, pediatrician or primary care doctor, with your permission.
  • In-person visits in Red Bank, and video visits for patients in New Jersey, New York (Dr. Rahman and Dr. Ahmad) and California (Dr. Ahmad).
