The initial evaluation
The first visit is a comprehensive evaluation of up to 90 minutes. We talk with you and your child about concerns, history, strengths, school and family life, then explain what we are seeing and what options make sense.

Treatment
Treatment is individualized. Depending on your child's needs it may include medication management, supportive and CBT-informed therapy, parent guidance and family interventions. Medication is never the only option considered, and we explain the reasoning, benefits and risks before any decision is made.
With your permission, we coordinate with schools, pediatricians and therapists so everyone is working from the same plan.
Harbor Road Psychiatry is an out-of-network practice. We provide a superbill you can submit to your insurer; reimbursement depends on your plan. As a group practice, our psychiatrists cover for one another, so your care continues if your psychiatrist is unavailable.
